Happy New Year to everyone! In this new post, there will be a head-to-head comparison between the Charmander from LOZ and Weagle, two famous Nanoblocks-compatible brands. Details of the blocks as below: Product: LOZ diamond blocks Charmander/ Weagle mini blocks Charmander Model No.: LOZ 9142 / Weagle 2212 No. of pieces: 110 / 142 Dimension: Difficulty: 3/5 (mainly due to the tininess of the blocks!) Time to complete: 45-60 minutes First, let's not to forget, the original look of Charmander, the cute little fire Pokemon : From the seller's website, both of the items looked similar. In order to compare, my friend and I decided to bought one from each brand. However, upon unboxing, we did noticed that the colour of LOZ appeared to be brighter. In comparison to the original nanoblocks, the colour of Weagle is more 'genuine'. After sorting out the blocks, the building begun! To be frank, the instruction for these blocks are much better than the one from Sluban previously. At least the instructions are clearer. The only confusing thing is, sometimes you will mix up the blocks. The building process would be much faster if it is not because of the size of these blocks. My hands are too big for this! Haha... In comparison, blocks of LOZ fits better in comparison with Weagles. Both building and taking off is easier for LOZ. It felt more 'lego-like' when assembling LOZ blocks. Weagle's quality really looked like those ciplak China-LEGO brand. Lousy fittings, noticeable gaps between blocks, extra bits of plastics on blocks.. There's even a fragile part on Weagle's Charmander: the tail part where there's no block in the design to secure it from detaching. I have to manually add one 4x4 blocks for the purpose. Conclusion is, if you opt for colour and ease of storage, go for Weagle.
But if you opt for quality (and a more vibrant colour), go for LOZ. You can order from me for both brands, though... Haha Here's all sets of 8 of pokemon available now. Saw a somewhat interesting legography taken at Penang on Facebook. Must share it here, since I don't think I can do it better than what she does. Post by Sherilyn Kang. If you have never take picture with this mural before, then it means that you have never went to Penang before! Post by Sherilyn Kang. I personally like this the most, taken at Jetty Chew, 姓周桥 Post by Sherilyn Kang. And this Post by Sherilyn Kang. And this Post by Sherilyn Kang. Well, basically the whole album is just too good.
